I am Shehzaib Shafique, a passionate researcher with expertise in biomedical signal processing, machine learning, and deep learning. I did Bachelors and Masters in Biomedical Engineering. My work on epilepsy detection before its onset through machine learning and cuffless blood pressure estimation using AI exemplifies my ability to merge state-of-the-art technology with healthcare innovation.
I am currently engaged in a Ph.D. program at the renowned UVIP lab, where I have the privilege of working under the expert guidance of Dr. Monica Gori. My research is dedicated to advancing navigation systems tailored for visually impaired individuals. Pursuing this noble goal, I harness the power of cutting-edge technologies such as computer vision and deep learning. By leveraging these innovative approaches, I aim to empower blind individuals to navigate and explore their surroundings independently, reducing their reliance on external assistance and enhancing their quality of life. With an unwavering commitment to making a positive impact, I aim to push the boundaries of knowledge and contribute to the betterment of society.
