Biografia

In my past research experience at University of Bologna, I focused on studying the neural mechanisms involved in moral judgment. To do so, I employed a variety of methods, including TMS-EEG co-registration and behavioural approaches. By combining TMS with EEG, I was able to investigate brain connectivity and neural activity through TMS-evoked potentials (TEPs) and time-frequency analysis. My current research activity focuses on exploring the role of ownership and agency in (im)moral behaviour by means of EEG and Immersive Virtual Reality (IVR). I am also investigating event-related potentials and neural oscillations related to conflict monitoring and error processing by utilizing a combination of IVR, EEG and non-invasive brain stimulation techniques such as tACS and TMS. Moreover, I am actively involved in multiple projects focused on exploring the neuromodulatory effects of low-intensity transcranial focused ultrasound stimulation (tFUS).
