A longitudinal study of multisensory development in humans
Abstract

The project aims to determine the basic principles behind multisensory integration, by modulating spatial and temporal windows of integration and inserting sensory or spatialtemporal conflicts. The main approaches used will be based on Psychophysics, EEG, Modelling, motion tracking, and eye movement analysis. The project will focus on the interaction between sensory modalities with a focus on the interaction between touch and vision/audition (e.g. tactile-audio modalities will be studied in children with visual impairment).
